Prints. Textures.
Colors.
Two collections.
Two very different worlds.
From inspiration
to a collection.
Two independently designed graduation collections, exploring the relationship between imagery, textile patterns and clothing.
The menswear takes Vatican City as its starting point, interpreted through an edgy, monochrome direction. The womenswear draws on Indian truck art: colorful, bright and vibrant, with illustrations and patterns I designed for the collection.
Vatican City.
An edgier expression.
Created as my graduation collection for the Diploma in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising at NAFA. Monochrome imagery, textured surfaces and contrasting silhouettes give the collection its direction. Illustrated lineups show the collection together before the photographed looks bring it into focus.
From monochrome
to full color.
Indian truck art.
Made wearable.
For my BA Honours in Fashion Design graduation collection at Sheffield Hallam University, I designed the illustrations and patterns around the bright, vibrant character of Indian truck art. The collection carries those graphics across garments and bags.
Two collections.
One design practice.
I designed both graduation collections and made the garments and bags myself, including the original illustrations and patterns for the Indian truck art collection. I collaborated with photography and videography students on the collection photography and menswear film.
