Make the food
worth following.
The goal: grow Hashi’s social media following and encourage customers to visit the restaurant.
At Jxtapose, I developed photography mood boards, art directed shoots, edited imagery, and designed and published social content for Hashi. My role connected the planning of the photographs with how they appeared in the final feed.
02 / Setting the direction
Plan the image.
Shape the mood.
The shoot brief established distinct content directions, with references for backdrops, props, light, and composition. Dark product photography, hands-on preparation, and playful pop-art imagery each gave the feed a different way to tell Hashi’s story.

03 / From brief to image
Texture. Color.
A closer look.
The finished imagery brings the food into focus: glistening sauces, delicate folds, and contrasting surfaces. Preparation shots bring the people and process into the same visual story.

Show the making.
Build the appetite.
The process direction follows the food before it reaches the table. Close framing on hands, ingredients, and preparation adds a human layer alongside the finished dishes.

One restaurant.
More than one story.
Image selection, editing, and graphic treatments carried the shoot direction into social posts. Food portraits, preparation imagery, and motion created variety within a recognizable feed.
